Privacy Policy

Volara Connect ("Connect") is a business workspace operated by Volara Agency LLC ("Volara," "we," "us"), 1281 State Route 650, Ironton, Ohio 45638. This policy explains what information Connect collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to connect.volara.agency. Our marketing website has its own policy at volara.agency/privacy-policy.

Who uses Connect

Connect is used by Volara's clients and their staff. Accounts are created by Volara or by a client administrator. Each client's workspace is kept separate from every other client's.

Information we collect

• Account information: name, email address, role and sign in details.
• Workspace content: what you and your team create or upload, such as messages, documents, decks, files, images, contacts and notes.
• Information from connected services: data from accounts you choose to connect, described below for Google.
• Usage and technical data: logs, device and browser information, and actions taken in the app, used to run, secure and improve the service.

How we use information

• To provide the features you use, such as chat, document and deck editing, scheduling, email and file export.
• To secure the service, prevent abuse and fix problems.
• To communicate with you about your account and the service.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use your information for advertising.

Google user data

Connect only accesses Google data when a user chooses to connect a Google account, and only for the feature that user turned on. Depending on what was connected, Connect may:

• Gmail: read messages so they appear in your Connect inbox, and send email that you write or approve in Connect.
• Google Calendar: read your calendar list and free or busy times to show availability, and create or update events you book through Connect.
• Google Drive: save files you export from Connect, such as PDFs, into a folder that Connect creates. Connect can only see files it created. It cannot see or change any other file in your Drive.
• Google Business Profile: show and manage your business listing, reviews and posts when you ask it to.
• Google Search Console and Google Analytics: read reports about your website to show them in Connect.
• Basic profile: your email address and name, to identify the connected account.

Volara Connect's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

• We use Google user data only to provide and improve the user facing features described above.
• We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising.
• We do not use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
• No person at Volara reads your Google data unless you ask us to for support, it is needed for security or to comply with law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized.
• When you ask Connect's assistant to work with Google data (for example, to draft a reply to an email), that content is sent to our AI provider only to complete your request, under terms that do not allow it to be used for model training.

Google access tokens are stored encrypted on our servers. You can disconnect at any time from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions, or ask us to disconnect it. When an account is disconnected, Connect stops accessing it, and we delete the stored tokens.

Service providers

We share information only with providers that help us run Connect, and only as needed for their service: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database, file storage and sign in), Anthropic (AI features), Resend (email delivery) and Google (the Google features you connect). Each is bound by its own data protection terms.

Retention and deletion

We keep workspace content while the client account is active. When a client account ends, or when you ask, we delete the related data within 30 days, except where we must keep it to comply with law. To request access to or deletion of your information, email austin.clark@volara.agency.

Security

Connect uses encrypted connections, access controls that separate each client's workspace, and encrypted storage of connected account tokens. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected users of a breach as the law requires.

Children

Connect is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. Material changes will be communicated to account holders.
